This is a sound art collage created from poet Jude Cowan Montague's work in progress, 'The Wires, 2012'. She works as an archivist on the Reuters collection and this book interprets selective international news stories of 2012 in a continuous stream. Ash Cooke (aka Pulco) has taken recordings of the work and collaged them with audio recordings of day to day sounds and events including a ride on an open top London tour bus, preliminary completions for the Urdd National Eisteddfod and the Star Wars exhibition at LEGOLAND Windsor.

Jude's published poetry on Reuters news stories 'For the Messengers' has been commended by journalists Jon Snow (Channel Four) and Bill Neely (formerly ITN now NBC)

Ash Cooke (aka Pulco)is a musician and writer from North Wales. His musical output spans over 18 years and includes work with among others The Manic Street Preachers, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci and John Cale.

Pulco music is home-recorded lo-fi experimentalism - observational, poignant and at times laugh out loud funny. It includes poetry, found sound, ambient noise as well as songs deftly performed with little more than voice and guitar.
