Jude Cowan Montague is a writer, composer and artist. She works as an archivist on the Reuters Television collection at ITN Source and has a PhD in the history of film and visual media. In 2014 she was awarded the Gwen May RE Prize from the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Her first collection of poetry, 'For the Messengers' was published by Donut Press in 2013 and is a response to international news agency stories from 2008. She curates and co-hosts a show for Resonance 104.4fm, 'The News Agents' with journalist Rob Edwards. This text for this work is based on her forthcoming extended poetry sequence, 'The Wires, 2012'.
Ash Cooke (aka Pulco)is a musician and writer from North Wales. His musical output spans over 18 years and includes work with among others The Manic Street Preachers, Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci and John Cale.
Pulco music is home-recorded lo-fi experimentalism - observational, poignant and at times laugh out loud funny. It includes poetry, found sound, ambient noise as well as songs deftly performed with little more than voice and guitar.
